The Order of Railroad Telegraphers (ORT) was a railroad union organized in the 1880s to promote the interests of employees working as telegraph operators for the railroads. It was merged with other unions in the 1960s. For sale is a rare ORT membership card from 1912, It measures appx 4 x 2 1/2 inches and is printed on heavy cardstock. It is in good condition, for something over 100 years old. It has no rips or tears, and all writing/markings are from its issuance and use.
