Early Sovereign Cigarettes Tobacco Baseball Card of St. Louis Browns pitcher William Bailey. Backof card statesinformation about Bailey'shistory until 1910. Back reads in part "William Bailey, the St. Louis Americans' young pitcher, was born in 1889, and commenced playing professional base ball when only seventeen years old, in Austin, Texas.".

Rendering on front of card in color with player pictureon red and bluebackground. Worn/torn areas on players uniform and name area and only light wear around edges. Printing on back ingreen is worn in spotsbut mostly legible. Bottomof back marked "BaseBallSeries 400 Designs, Sovereign Cigarettes,Fit For A King, Factory No 25, 2d District VA". Shows no creases with justa minor wave. Measures approx.2 5/8"x 1 3/8".
