First Yearbook, 1907 Colorado State Normal College School Yearbook,Cache La Poudre,Greeley, Colorado.The Cache La Poudre. Photos 1 and 2 show the front cover and binding. Photo # 3 shows the inside cover page, stating this is the first yearbook. Photos 4 thru 7 show the Junior Class Students. Photos 8, 9 and 10 show the 11th, 10th and 9th Grades. Photo # 11 shows an advertisement for the school that is in the yearbook. If you graduated from the 2 year college you got a teaching certificate for in the State of Colorado that was good for your whole career. Also the add states Tuition was free. Housing and food or as the add states Room and Board was $4.75 a week, $3.50 a week for housing and $1.25 for food. Photo # 12 shows the Kindergarten Class. The school was later renamed by the State of Colorado in 1911 as the State Teachers College of Colorado. In 1935 it was renamed the Colorado State College of Education. In 1957 it was simply named Colorado State College. In 1970 it was renamed was again as The University of Northern Colorado.So a rather rare, old and historic yearbook.
