A hard back book with ribbon tie titled " Portfolio Containing TWENTY FOUR PLATES to Accompany Volume on BUILDING CONSTRUCTION by Prof. Adams , M.I.C.E. " . Measures 18 " x 13 " and inside on the front cover a list of the 24 folio coloured lithograph plates, which have superb detail and colour. From 1906.The cover has stains and wear, separated inner and some of the plates have slight folds in corner (see photos). These 24 plates are beautifully detailed and coloured and perfect for framing for an Architect or anyone in the building trades' office.
This book has been in my family since it was brought to Canada from England in 1908 by my Grandfather. Not sure what ever happened to the Text Book that these plates accompanied.UNDOUBTABLY A RARE BOOK
