Official Texas \"General Land Office\" Post Card-Signed by Chief Clerk J.T. Robison- and sent to Attorney H. T. McCabe on August 18, 1905. The card is in great shape for being 118 years old. The ink is clear and legible and the stamps are very clear and clean. It has some foxing but on the whole it is a fantastic piece of Texas History.
This Post card is a portion of Texas history. The Addressee H. T. McCabe, Attorney is Harvey T. McCabe Born in May 30, 1863 and died as Judge Harvey T. McCabe on Aug. 12, 1920. He was a well respected member in the community.
As for J.T. Robison-or James Thomas Robison he was an educator, legislator and land commissioner. Born on Sept. 30, 1861 and died in 1929, he too was a respected member of the community and has a long well respected history in Texas. Both of these mens interesting histories can be found by a quick name search.
