\"The Lost Cause: A Confederate War Record,\" March 1904. This magazine was published by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Florence Barlow, a UDC member in Kentucky, purchased it in 1899, appears on the masthead and helped make the publication have a national reach. The Lost Cause runs through the issue, with soldiers who passed memorialized and old Southern values glorified. Very good or even excellent condition. Some minor wear but otherwise the pages are white and supple and the binding is tight. A true artifact and a solid addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be.
