ere\'s a rare unopened antique 110 year old milkglass jar of Hess Cherryola Rouge for Tinting the Lips & Cheeks. I dont believe this milkglass jar had ever been opened....it has the full original red rouge inside (which you could actually still use!). No embossing in the glass jar itself, but it has the full original round paper label on the aluminum lid.....HESS CHERRYOLA FOR TINTING THE LIPS & CHEEKS THE HESS PERFUME CO. ROCHESTER,NYThe super thin milkglass jar is only 1/2\"tall x 2 1/2\"round....Excellent attic near mint condition with only one small dent on edge of the metal lid. I found a 1903 advertisement for this Hess Cherryola Rouge so I\'m sure this jar dates from around that early 1900 period. Women used this dark red rouge in those days to give color to their cheeks and lips. It is very unusual to find an original jar of red rouge like this that has not been used!THIS
