Set of 6 RPPC real photo postcards plus 4 antique hand colored lithographic printed postcards. A special collection apparently from Southern Pines NC. Interesting to note that one of the photo postcards titles by The Sand Road by E.S. Eddy is the same house as one of the color lithography postcards titled Ned\'s Cabin. All circa 1905 give or take. All in excellent condition, no tears, no stains, no creases. All clean unposted except for one which is a Tuck\'s postcard and it is the postcard that is a photo colorized and printed and written \"with all good wishes from your aunt in Dixie Land.\"Dixieis commonly associated with the Old South and Confederate states.Dixie was considered the land south of the Mason Dixon line, where slavery was legal. Nice flag cancellation dated 1901.The profits from cotton propelled the US into a position as one of the leading economies in the world, and made the South its most prosperous region.
