This is a very colorful antique wool work sampler, showing alphabets, numbers, holy, birds, people flowers and religious symbols/

It is stitched with multi colored wool thread on linen cloth.

The sampler is French and is dated 1900. It was made by a 13 year old girl named Elisa Marie Vibert.

This is a large sampler, it measures approximately 29 1/4 x 21 1/4 inches or 74.5 x 54 cm.

The sampler is in good condition, considering its age.

The cloth is a bit discolored in some places. There is some minor loss of stitches and color run. Please see photos.
