18ft Long A&W “Home Of The Burger Family” Storefront Sign - Genuine Salvage READ:

This genuine A&W storefront sign was salvaged from a nearby A&W restaurant when they renovated their location. Headquarters orders all signs & old storefront advertising items to be immediately destroyed upon removal (this beautiful 18ft sign, somehow slipped through the cracks & was saved). A&W signs are getting extremely hard to come by due to these rules of destroying everything upon removal.

When each piece was measured, the total length is 17.7ft; however, this does not include the spaces between the different sections (bringing the overall total length to just under 18ft long). There is a pop can in the photographs for size reference. If you look at current A&W restaurants, this particular sign has been changed to a much more basic design; which is much less appealing in my opinion.

As you can also see in the photographs, the signs letters have some light wear (scratches, nicks, small markings, etc). Additionally, one of the original mounting holes does appear to have broken in its past life. However, it does not affect the pieces overall look in any way; especially when mounted on a wall.

This sign will be shipped in one large parcel (if the dimensions allow for it, of course). If the parcel ends up being to large in the end, I will simply send two separate parcels to make shipping easier (one parcel with the two smaller sections & one parcel with the large section). Lastly, I will likely be shipping via UPS because they are the shipping service that allows for the largest overall dimensions. However, when parcels are shipping via UPS & they are large, US Customs traditionally will have a customs fee waiting for the recipient before they can receive their parcel(s). I do not make those rules, unfortunately. I do have to express to the buyer that they may need to pay a customs fee on their end to receive such a large parcel (again, this has to do with UPS & US Customs; unfortunately I can do nothing about it). HOWEVER.. If I can ship the parcel with any other shipping service & the dimensions allow for it, I will gladly do so to save the buyer the trouble of having to pay a customs fee on their end.
