If you look at the example of this 7/8\" cello button, which closed in Al Anderson\'s sale #189, (and most other sales), you see that the printing at top doesn\'t go clear down towards the candidate\'s shoulders. Which makes this a harder-to-find version.
Samuel Milton Jones became a very popular, progressive and reformist businessman and Mayor in Toledo, Ohio, who lived by \"The Golden Rule.\" And that became his nickname; \"Golden Rule Jones.\" In 1899 he ran for Ohio Governor, but only received about 106,000 votes. This has a \"Franklin Printing and Engraving Co.\" on Superior Street in Toledo and, partially, Whitehead and Hoag back paper intact.
