This is an old 1890s era original small oval brass picture frame that has an easel for displaying.
This measures about 2 1/2\" tall and 2\" wide for outer dimensions.
It is rather plain but has a tintype photo that I also believe is original to the era and is displayed with a white embossed paper for the outer area around the photo.
I took it apart and there is the name of Mrs. H.A. Hamlin, Toledo written on the inside. The glass that was cut for this frame is really jagged and rough, like it might have been hand cut but looks fine when in the frame.
Maybe someone knows this family!
