This is a nice, original Axel Lindahl albumen photo titled \"Romsdalen, Romsdalshorn.\" at bottom-left corner of photo. Romsdalshornet is a mountain in the municipality of Rauma in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The mountain is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) southeast of the town of Åndalsnes, along the Rauma River in the Romsdalen valley. Photo marked Andvord, Christiania, Eneret Norge Fotografi AF Axel Lindahl.
Axel Theodor Lindahl (1842-1906) was a Swedish photographer notable for his early photography of Norwegian landscapes.Unlike many of his contemporary photographers who emphasized the dramatic nature of Norwegian landscapes, Lindahl sought in his composition the harmonious aesthetic of his subject matter. He did is work in Norway from 1875-1896.Photo measures 6.5\" x 9\" and is mounted on stiff card that measures 9\" x 12\"
There is some mild rubbing wear to edges of card. Image area has very minimal wear.
