This fantasticcard was issued by the ALLEN andGINTER. Tobacco Co of Richmond Virginia. with each card being an insert premiumin their brands of Tobacco and Cigarettes during 1888. The series is entitled“Flags of All Nations (Series 1) ” . designated as series N9 in Burdick\'s American Card Catalogue. Thefront of each card features a colorfulimage representative of the County’s Flag,, while the back features a list ofall of the cards in the series as well as advertising for Allen & Ginter ofRichmond Virginia . This card featuresthe Flag of Mexico. The Card measure 1 ½ inches by 2 ¾ inches approximately. The card does have some cornerand edge wear, and a light scratch to the front to the front. , but is free from major creases. I have scannedthe card front and back, fairly largefor you to be able to judge condition for yourself As it is over 130 years old it is an officialAmerican Antique.
