19th century oval albumen photograph of a dapper military unit. This photograph has labels from the framer with the address of 3208 Germantown Avenue which is in Philadelphia, PA. On google maps it is now a vacant lot where this business once stood. My guess is that this is a German/Prussian unit brought back by an immigrant to the United States.
