This is a big 15 1/2\"tall hand blown demijohn storage bottle dug from an 1870s trash pit...it has pretty rainbow effect irridescence on outside surface of the glass from being buried in the wet ground for 150 years......No embossing....Hand blown in mold, bimal....early sunken smooth base....applied tapered collar....olive green....round...15 1/2\"tall...Good condition with no chips or damage. A dug bottle with light overall irridescence and haze. Crude whittled glass...a great looking bottle! This type of bottle was used for storing wine, water, liquor or any liquids. It may have been covered with wicker originally....
