A view showing “The Spinning Wheel brought over on the Mayflower.” On the back of the view is printed “Photographed and Published by B. W. Kilburn, Littleton, N. H., A. S. Burbank, Bookseller and Stationer, Odd Fellows’ Block, No. 6 Main Street, Plymouth, Mass., Catalogue of Views mailed free on application.” Under the image on the right front is printed, “372. The Spinning Wheel brought over in the Mayflower.” The buff colored mount measures 7 inches by 4 1/4 inches. There is an old collection number penciled on the back. This large size mount was used by photographers from 1874 to 1884.
The front of the mount has some light soiling and some surface paper loss to the bottom edge of the image on the right. The back of the mount has a few small scuffs to the surface of the paper in the lower part at about the middle.Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value.
