DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: This historical document is a score for any collector of U.S. historical memorabilia. This1865 document from the Ohio Memorial Association is a rare find that offers a glimpse into the past. The document is in great shape in consideration of it\'s age with no rips or tears. There are 2 crease/fold marks where it was once folded and mailed in an envelope to the recipient. There are some brownish spots that may be from age/staining or could possibly just be part of the parchment paper... I can\'t say for sure. The certificate was issued following the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, memorializing a $1 contribution towards the erection of a statue honoring the late president. This unique piece of history will surely be a conversation starter.
