A fantastic silk ribbon worn during ceremonies in July 1858 marking the disinterment and removal of Monroe\'s remains from New York to his native Virginia. The ribbon was lithographed by: \"Hatch & Co. 29 William St. NY.\"

10 3/4\" x 2 3/4\".

Condition: Light soil, especially at the bottom 2\", some wrinkling, generally very good. Great graphics on a scarce ribbon for a president with few artifacts produced.
