An early view of the much-missed Euston Arch, which was demolished in the 1960s when the station was re-developed. An iconic structure, much of the stonework remains, and there is talk of reconstructing it in the near future.
For now all we have are prints like this and photographs. This example, which has been handcoloured, was published in the July, 1858 edition of the Illustrated News of the World.
Size: the mount measures approx. 34cms x 27cms.Condition:Generally in a good condition. There are two very faint vertical lines - either folds or part of the printing process. Please study the photographs.
