1854 Dated German “B Handle” Sword RARE
There is not too much information out there on this sword. I have only seen 1 other example of this kind of sword. This is a German manufactured sword that travelled to the United States in some form or fashion. Bought from an estate in Virginia and has a rare B handle that was not used for long. The sword is an 1854 date so there is always the possibility it was imported and used during the Civil War. That is really impossible to tell without documentation though. The sword is 25 and 1/2” long with no scabbard. Great opportunity to own a cheap Civil War era sword
