This is an early free blown cobalt blue glass gift mug with open pontil scarred base and crude applied handle. It is hand painted with fired on enamel berries & leaves with REMEMBER ME in faint gold paint.....beautiful hand painted white fired on enamel leaves around the front and sides of mug.....Free blown with applied footed base....rough open or blowpipe pontil scar on bottom.....flared out rim....crude applied cobalt glass handle....cobalt blue glass....3 3/8\"tall.....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. The words \"REMEMBER ME\" are faint and worn off a lot. A nice clean gift presentation mug from the 1800s...
