This is a sparkling attic mint early Star & Punty whale oil lamp made in the 1840-1850s era by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co....It has the famous Star & Punty bold embossing around the 6 sided font...6 sided hollow base with 6 sided baluster stem....glass wafer joining the base with font....8 3/4\"tall...thick very heavy glass...brass threaded collar...Sparkling attic mint condition with no nicks or damage of any kind. A nice clean whale oil lamp from the mid 1800s with no haze. .. ...
