In this part-printed vellum document Monroe grants land in the Territory of Arkansas to the heirs of George Jewell "late a private in Kerneys Company of the Thirteenth Regiment of Infantry."

James Monroe as U.S. President has signed lower right and Josiah Meigs as Commissioner of the General Land Office has signed as well.

9 1/4" x 12 1/2".

Condition:Fold lines, two small losses in blank margins, scattered soil, verso has old mounting remnants, generally good condition.
