Ipurchased these Moccasins on March 25, 2004 from (following description copied from the listing) “Thispair of womans Sioux Moccasins has quite the history, until four years ago theywere in a museum in England where they were part of a Wild West display from thelate 1800’s when Buffalo Bill Cody/Annie Oakley and the famous Sioux leader SittingBull along with several Native American Indians of the Sioux Nation had touredthere and these were donated to the museum.The museum sold a lot of the display a few years back and these wereamong the items sold. They are in newcondition and the brain tanned leather is still soft, they are beaded with verysmall 16 beads and measure 9-1/2 inches long.” Nowat 83 yrs, my wife and I are making adjustments and selling most of our collections.
