Here is a set of 17 reproduced modernminiature plaster scenes grandtourcameosintaglio medallions which were an international phenomenonduring the grand tours between the 18th and19th centuries beforephotographywhen wealthy travellers had them carved for them andboughtthem as keepsakes thrus giving huge revival of interest in the worldcalled the neo-classical period set in this stunning wall display cabinet.The size of the middle intaglio is 6 cms diam approx.
