Vintage African Protective Blade Fetish Figure hand made with wood, glass, cloth and metal blades.Los Angeles Estate Sale find. Believe the piece originated in the Congo. Families and Tribes used them to protect against andweaken evil spirits. In front is a mounted piece of glass and above it looks like a mollusk shell with a hole.Great rusty patina. Used a light brush to clean off cobwebs. No signature or markings.He is approx 16\" tall x 8\" wide x 6\" deep. Weighs approx 5.5 lbs before packing.
