Found in Central Columbia in 2011
Believed to be a fragment of the Meteorites witnessed in September 2010.

The Colombian media said there were many eyewitness accounts of the fireball, which fell from the sky, causing a massive explosion in Central Columbia.

However, after an intense search, they were unable to find any remnant of the meteorite.

A committee assembled by Governor Horacio Serpa was sent to analyze the phenomenon said they believe it was a type of meteorite known as an aerolite, which can be made up mostly iron and rock. These often break up into small fragments in the air, making it hard to locate on the ground.

Talking with Gregorio Portilla, an astronomer Colombia’s National University, said that around 30 meteorites fall to earth each year.

“These bodies can travel at a speed between 11 and 70 kilometers per second, as in, a speed five times the speed of sound” and \"They usually break up into smaller fragments upon impact with the earth’s surface\", Portilla said.

OUR FAMILY FRIEND FELL ON HARD TIMES AND MENTION HE WANTED TO TRY AND SELL IT. BEING IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA I TOLD HIM TO SEND THE METEORITE TO ME AND I\'ll GET IT LISTED AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
