Here is an excellent book entitled \"THE HEBREW AND ARAMAIC ORIGIN OF THE NEW TESTAMENT\" [TRIMM new 2008]. This book is of special interest to Jehovah\'s Witnesses primarily because of its research into the Divine Name JEHOVAH was once in the NEW TESTAMENT as shown by the Greek word \"kyrios\" or LORD in Hebrew in many cases should be translated by the tetragrammaton \"JEHOVAH\". This book has sections about Du Tillet and Shem Tob\'s Hebrew versions of Matthew and much more. Recent evidence indicates that the Jews of the New Testament era mainly spoke and wrote Hebrew, Aramaic not Greek, which of course is what the Bible says as the Bible writers were ALL Jews, and therefore when translating God\'s Name such as from Ps 110:1 they would have not changed the text but would read \"JEHOVAH in Matt 22:44 when quoting from the Hebrew Scriptures.
