The set is handmade,Handpainted with Gold gilding. A vintage/antique piece probably from the early 1900s or older but not proven. The cup is made of very thin bone china - it is quite translucent when held up to the light.

No marks but the peonies give a big clue as to origin.This set was stored in a box for many years & belonged to old owners grandmother.
