SEE VIDEO to hear the beautiful song and this beautiful piece. This exquisite SANKYO 23 Note Cross Inlay Musical Jewelry Box is a true masterpiece. The wood materials used are burl-elm, rosewood, with gold hardware and a functional lock. The exterior is rectangular with a natural wood tone, and has beautiful inlay work depicting a holy cross. The wood does have some oxidation on the front around the key and on the sides, which can be seen in the pictures provided. The interior is lined in a light brown/tan/off white fabric and features a ring roll and an open compartment. This handmade jewelry box is made in Italy, in Sorrento, and is a must-have for any collector or music box enthusiast. Please note that the music box plays a song which is included in the video provided. (If you know the song -- please send me a note.) This remarkable item comes with a key and features gold hardware. This music box is 7 inches in length, 5 inches in width, and 3 inches in height. Even though we are not sure about the song, it can be heard in the video. These range in the thousands and am selling for only the price of a Sankyo Orpheus 30 Note Movement for those that may have a DIY Music Box --only because of the oxidation within this piece.
