- The \'21\' Clublocated at 21 West 52nd Streetin NYC was a traditional American Cuisine Restaurant and former prohibition-era speakeasy.Prior to its closure in 2020, the club had beena Social & Culinary landmarkactivefor 90 Years, and hosted almost every US President since Rooosevelt. \'21\'had a hidden secret wine cellar next doorwhere it stored the private collections of many celebrites such as Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, Al Jolson, and Sophia Loren. Ambience of \"21\"included a restaurant, lounge,and a Bar.The Bar roomdisplayed delightful antique toys and sports memorabilia donated by Famous Patrons. (The restaurant Dress code Policy required men to wear a necktie & Jkt and would provide \"loaner\" Jkts/Tiesfrom (Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors for dinner guests who arrived w/o )The Well Known Feature of \"21\" was the line of 33 painted Cast Iron Lawn Jockey statues adorning the Front Balcony above entrance.
