💯1917-1939 ROBESON SHUREDGE "PRE WAR" Beautiful "SCARCE" bone 2 BLD knife:

This is a Robeson Sure Edge Bone Stag Handled 2 Blade Pocket Knife #62226 (older 5 digit code, early one) blades still in great condition.This is a ONE BEAUTIFUL vintage ROBESON SHUREDGE 2-blade Equal End patternwith Bone handles. It measures 3-1/8" closed. The main blade tang is stamped, ROBESON SHUREDGE ROCHESTER N.Y. and has a 1" swedge or false edge on the top spine. It was made between 1917 and 1939 only. The main blade is also stamped on the back side 62226. Both blades have been sharpened but are very near full. Both blades have good snap, like a big bear trap and sit right in both positions, the main blade does have a bit of wiggle when in the open position. The smaller blade tang is stamped ROBESON SHUREDGE N.Y.The handle scales are beautiful worm grooved light colored bone (really nice color) with absolutely no cracks (very tight small top crack) or chips and brass liners and steel pins (see pictures). It has a beautiful nickel silver pinned ROBESON OVAL shield. It has beautiful shiny front and rear steel bolsters, ALL tight and right! This is a very rare 2 Blade Equal End pattern with worm grooved bone, nickel silver pinned shield that would be a great collectible for any serious collector.
