~1866-1868 CDV PHOTO YOUNG WOMAN, J.M. Hunter, M.D., Photographer. Good CDV condition; just framing lines partially faded on right side, and as typical, a few small age spots - see pix of both. "M.D." initials after photographer's name were a source of much discussion, possibly Philadephia, PA. Sometimes used by scientific/MD, police, funeral photographers, but difficult to find info for this particular one. So photography may have been done on side, as though there were many professional photographers at time, there were also many amateurs who did it on side of their regular profession (though often that was landscape) and were used by general public. Something to keep looking for - there's actually one in existence today, but unlikely one who took this pic. :) Somewhat possible could've been taken a bit earlier, but more likely in this range, post-war.
