Thinning out my 30+ year collection of great Baltimore Maryland and Carroll County soda, beer and whiskey bottles. Any references to a # are from the 2019 edition of Baltimore’s Pre-Prohibition Breweries & Bottles (also available on ). Please look at the pictures carefully. I can provide additional pictures upon request.
This is a dug bottle, has not been cleaned and shows case wear, flea bites and internal staining. This bottle has strong embossing and some nice whittle throughout that would shine after a tumble. There is no glass blowers marks on the bottle. The loopseal does have an external fold of glass which while appears as a crack, it is not. Please review the last high resolution picture carefully if you have any concern. Embossed in a slug plate as: STANDARD BREWING CO'S BOTTLING DEPARTMENT
