I believe this wrench was standard issue for the DUKW’s,the GMC CCKW 352 & 353, the M-29 Weasel Cargo Carrier, and other commonmilitary vehicles and other maintenance tool Kits.

I believe thiswrench was the 15” adjustable wrench for military common tool sets, and was theGov. stock # 41-W-450 as referred in ORD 6 SNL G-27 tool sets / TM-9-81.

The Vlchek ToolCompany was one of the major suppliers of tools for the military vehiclesduring the WWII era.

The wrench is stamped on side of top jaw VLCHEK DROP FORGED, and embossed on one sideof the handle MADE IN USA 15 AUTO.

The wrench is 15” long, the jaw opens to 41/16”, and has 1 3/4” throat.

Thewrench is in good condition, shows little use, and has been cleaned and rubcoated with black paint for protection. As with the vintage ofthe wrench, there is some light normal wear, a few dings & scratches andsome discoloration, as noted from the photos.
