Originally adopted in the 1950s and produced until the 1990s, the ANP-M51/53 gas mask carries a legacy of proven reliability and effectiveness. Masks may exhibit various revision marks and are typically dated from the 1990s. While these masks may show slight wear, they are in excellent condition overall. The mask and adjustable straps are soft, pliable, and form a tight fit to the face for maximum protection. This gas mask comes with an MLe 63 Canvas Carry Pouch and sling for convenient storage and transport. Included with the mask is a container with an extra (hard plastic) lens and several thinner plastic lens protectors, ensuring durability and clarity in demanding environments. The gas mask is marked as "III," indicating a size Small, although it fits a standard adult face just fine. It is compatible with widely available 40mm NATO style canister filters (not included), including CBRN-rated filters for comprehensive protection.
