WWii b3 life preserver “mae west” this life vest is in pretty good shape for its age. The leather patch on the front is in very good condition. The rubber tubes to inflate manually are still intact but the do show sings of age. The inner tube that would inflate has completely rotted away and fills the bottom of the life vest. Kinda feels like crunchy plastic. I’m sure that’s the case with most of these if not all of them. There are some spots throughout that I can’t make out. The straps are intact. Dated March 1942 and made by air cruisers inc. Please look over the photos and ask questions if you have any. I will consider serious offers and take more photos if needed. Not intended for actual use. This would make a great display pice in your army air corps collection.
