Hello, here is a big very rare and 100% natural LEAF fossil in its 50 million year old Green River Formation matrix! This fossil was quarried in an extinct lake that is known as Fossil Lake in Lincoln County, Wyoming.
Here's More Information....Fifty-million years ago an ancient Lake existed in what is now southwest Wyoming! The unusual chemistry of the lake created conditions that prevented decay and scavenging, while alternating layers of limestone and organic matter accumulated. The resulting laminated limestone contains the highest concentration of articulated fish fossils in the world!
