first off i\'m open to offers and you schooling me on what i have here..what i do know:a super solid, heavy weight over coat. a lot of similiar jackets say wehrmacht officer jacket.. i don\'t know about that.. but that word references the combined armed forces of germany during the 2nd world war so i say sure, that is totally possible... the leather is thick and a little stiff- NOT brittle, still very pliable but i think it could use some more moisturizing. i gave the leather a cleaning and an oiling and it soaked it right up. i think it was thirsty after sitting in a garage (a nice, clean one btw) for 30+ years..all the buttons and snaps and zippers work. no holes in pockets.all the little weird straps are there on the inside. is that big one for a grease gun?large collar with military zig zag stiching on reverse side.overall- very clean, in close to fantastic shape with a wonderful natural patina.no real smells to speak of- defiantly no rot or mildew or B.O....no real tears or gouges or holes or major flaws.an awesome jacket!!!
major flaws posted in pics after El Capitan..-one BIG button on the front is missing.-also a much smaller one in the back, the one that secures the bottom 2 folds of the slit is missing. easily replaced.-there are scuffs and patina throughout. some edge wear on sleeve ends (though no splits in the leather there) and some minor cracks and a cut- pictured..-the seam down the back has a small portion where i can stick my finger in.-the inner lining (velvet? it is a strange material) is pretty good but should be cleaned, there are some white \'splashes\' towards the bottom. there is also one small break/cut in the lining about an inch long.not pictured- the inside the sleeve lining (a silk-like material for the arms) for the right wrist is torn, the left side is fine- i can send you pics..

i\'d say this is a Large, maybe a 44/46, check my measurements against yours.i\'m 5\' 11\", 160lbs, 31/32 waist and skinny. it was a little big with me wearing two layers on underneath.i can send pictures of me in it if that helps..
