Up for sale is a vintage piece of art related ephemera. This is an original paste up for a promo flyer for The Paintings of EE Cummings show / review by Fairfield Porter.In pictured condition.The show was in the early 1980s, 1983 or 1984. It was organized by Andreas Brown, the owner of the Gotham Book Mart at the time. This piece is a one off, a draft edited for changes. This piece and my small quantity of other related EE Cummings and Gotham Book Mart items comes from the estate of Andreas Brown. A small collection of ephemera such as this was held in a NY storage unit whose contents went up for sale when he was unable to keep up payment in his later years.
