Beautiful, silver-plated pastry tongs with scissor action that features one flat end & one gripping tong. Gorgeous etched design on flat section and handles. A lovely dose of charming patina is the icing on the cake! Typically used for serving pastries at an elegant afternoon tea but these can be used for any holiday, occasion, even weddings! Wonderful for any vintage lover who collects old silverplate servers.Tongs measure 8 1/2" long. The flat server side measures 3" x 2". No maker marks. Tongs are in as found condition with tarnish & age marks, perhaps a spot of plate loss, but hard to determine without polishing. They are a little loose in the center where the scissor forms, but still function very well. They might be able to be tightened? Not sure. Moderate amount of patina.
