This was in the same lot and taken at the same event of another picture I am selling which contains the “Navy Blues Sextet,” a group of six young women from the film Navy Blues (1941) who toured military bases. They include some famous actresses. From the curtains I can tell this is the same event—and I’m wondering if it’s Marguerite Chapman since it sure looks like her, or maybe cast member Ann Sheridan if the event was the Honolulu film premiere which I think it may have been. Hopefully you can figure it out!

This snapshot came from a bigger lot of pictures originally from a navy man who served in the South Pacific (Don Long) and many of the snapshots were of Honolulu. So possibly this is taken there. I am not sure who the woman in the middle is—old Hollywood isn’t my thing. The premiere of the movie was in Honolulu so I think there’s a chance it may be this?
