vintage corn ceramic pitcher:

This is a small little pitcher for cream, or sauces. The pitcher appears to be a hand crafted, or home made from a mold. It has an embossed surface of corn kernels, and was hand painted yellow and green. The underside is marked with a number 51. I do not know the history, or who made this piece. It has a country farm house vibe. There is a small line on the interior of the spout that looks like it was made during manufactureby an instrument used to shape the spout, and a small discoloration from when I fill this with water that could indicate a hairline crack on the interior, but I do not see any cracks, just the slight discoloration, as if it was from crazing.This small cup holds 4 ounces of cream.
