Quintessential Santa Claus salt & pepper set. Vintage shakers were made in Japan mid century & are perfect for Christmas decor. One Santa is ringing a bell, the other holds a candy cane. Adorable! Would make a terrific addition to a Santa display or a gift for your favorite Santa collector this holiday season!Each ceramic Santa measures 4 3/4\" tall & 1 3/4\" wide. Hand painted with wonderful colors , great detail & glazed except for bottoms of feet. Both have cork stoppers in their feet. One cork is missing a small piece. The Santa with the bell is marked Japan on the bottom. Faint patina, barely there crazing & some gentle signs of aging including light scratching & minor paint loss.
