Offered for your consideration is a vintage PARKER Jotter Calendar ballpoint pen, made in the USA c.1967. The Jotter is PARKER’s most popular pen and the Calendar model was one of the less common versions. This handsome example features a brushed stainless steel cap and chrome-plated clip, trim, and date cylinder over an attractive red plastic barrel with steel tip. It features a promotion for a suburban Chicago manufacturer, Columbia Tool and Gage Co.

This PARKER Jotter Calendar is in clean, excellent condition. The Calendar model measures just over 5” long x ⅜” at its widest just like a standard Jotter. There are no cracks, scuffs, or dings, just the lightest signs of use as pictured. It’s still very shiny. Plus, the tasteful arrow clip rests tight against the cap with no gap and it has the early rounded clicker. Also, the cap has brass threads for longevity; a quality feature that PARKER eliminated in the early 1980’s to cut costs. This pen is in remarkable condition more, the click-actuated mechanism extends and retracts the refill properly. The PARKER fine point blue ink cartridge is old, but it’s still writing. When it runs out—which could be very soon—PARKER ballpoint refills can be found just about anywhere pens are sold. Plus, the date window barrel rotates smoothly as described in the instructions image at listing’s end. Lastly, the Jotter Calendar has excellent balance, ample mass, and feels very nice to write with!
