Good morning all. Here is a pair of very nice, no apologies,vintage Kraeuter, Made in USA, No. 1651 7\" long nose duckbill pliers. Kraeuter pliers (and other tools) were made in Newark, New Jersey, and are every bit the equal of Utica, or any other quality tool that you can name. Being in New Jersey, I am fortunate to have Kraeuter tools show up on a pretty regular basis.
These have smooth (i.e. not knurled) handles. The Catalog (last picture) describes these as 6\" pliers based on the handle and the joint location, but the elongated jaws make 7\" overall. The jaw faces are not knurled, but do have a little \"scoring\", which gives purchase to hold things. I am quite sure that is factory. The joint is solid. The jaw ends line up properly. Quality vintage USA iron, with nothing not to like.
