Vintage Kosta 50’s Contour series.

Clean, crisp and simplistic yet that organic contrasting black glass suspended within elevates the design to perfection. Vicke Lindstrand was the prominent master of design for both Kosta and Orrefors. Based on the Kosta catalog the signature on the base is LH which states (hand-formed by Lindstrand) unfortunately the numbering is unreadable, at least to my eyes. Stands 9 inches tall. Weights 4.34 pounds. No cloudiness, chips or cracks. Pontil is dished and polished. There is minimal age wear on the under base, but as I stated no chips.
