This vintage red and white quilt was made in Canada

It measures 66” x 78”

In the center, the squares read:

Washington United Church

Scarboro Ontario

Nov 1928

There are few holes and breaks - see photos.

And symmetrical areas of brown staining - also see photos.

This quilt was folded for decades with a sachet stuck in it - pot pourri type materials (flowers and maybe herbs and spices) wrapped in tissue paper.  I wonder if this might be what created the staining. I cannot say for sure.

I have not attempted to clean.

Needs some repair but I think it has good life left in it.
