pre-WWI Era US Army Early Khaki Tan Canvas T-Handle Shovel Cover w/Krag Style Hook - Marked: RIA 1907 - Original - Very NICE Condition

Up for Sale is a pre-WWI Era US Army Early Canvas T-Handle Shovel Cover with Krag Style Hook. The cover is the early Khaki Tan color. It is marked: RIA 1907. This is an early cover, with the leather strap and the Krag Style Belt Hook. No rips or tears. No fraying. Some soiling on the canvas. The leather strap has some surface cracks. There is a very faint unit marking on the front of the cover, looks like a \"27 over I\". The cover is used, please see photos for condition. These are getting somewhat difficult to find. Especially with this early Krag Hook versions. These were used with the M1910 & M1928 Haversack Pack System.

This is a necessaryitem for any WWI Field Gear Collection.
